Triple keel Achilles 24, sail no. 351, launched 1975, current owner since 2015. Aphrodite is a much loved boat which has taken me solo and with friends across the Channel to Brittany and the Channel Islands and west up to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Simple boat which is rewarding to sail: shallow draft (1m) allows access to interesting cruising areas (e.g. rivers) and her triple keel allows her to dry out upright while retaining strong performance.
Sadly work commitments force sale; this year I have not had time to care for her (or sail her) as much as an old boat needs.
Lying Emsworth, can deliver in Solent and possibly beyond by negotiation.

New upholstery in approx 2020. Interior wood revarnished around then.
Coppercoat (winter 2017) proving very effective so far: minimal fouling with an occasional jetwash. Boat kept in the water, in use, all year.
Delta 10kg anchor + 10m chain + 40m (ish) nylon warp. Solid setup, but still light enough to retrieve manually and small enough to fit in the locker.
LED nav lights (deck level bicolour and stern light only) in working order.
Lightly used 2023 Crewsaver tender available by separate negotiation.
Tillerpilot (Raymarine ST1000).
DSC VHF. Matsutech HP-33A AIS transceiver fitted, working but display failing (transmits ok still for conspicuity). NASA depth echo-sounder. NASA paddle-wheel speed log – display defective.
Outboard motor in well: short-shaft 4hp 2 stroke in current use, pending prop replacement. Long shaft 4hp 2/t in need of new crank seals available separately.
2017 (2018 first use) Sanders cross-cut main + beautiful tri-radial 120% furling genoa, decent condition though jib would benefit from new UV strip.
Previous sails in very worn condition (main and 150% (probably?) furling genoa) included as spares.
Smallish symmetric spinnaker, unknown age but decent condition with pole.
Standing rigging replaced 2017, except backstay tensioner. Dyneema main/jib halyards replaced during current ownership. Original Barton winches in good condition, serviced periodically.
2018 4-man Seago Cruiser liferaft available by separate negotiation.
