Carimuda (WW2 RAF Pinnace 1272) is the sole surviving 60-ft Special Duties Pinnace Mk I, built in 1943 by the renowned J. Samuel White & Co. of Cowes. Constructed to wartime RAF specifications with a hard-chine, double-diagonal mahogany hull and retaining her original copper sheathing, she embodies the innovative design lineage that also shaped the RAF’s famous high-speed rescue craft.

As the last vessel of her class afloat, Carimuda offers a direct and tangible link to Britain’s wartime ingenuity.
