Anderson 22 “Kazak” A45, blue hull, built 1975 Whitstable.
Much loved family sailing boat for sale by original owner.
After a long cruising and successful racing record in the Thames estuary, competing in both Burnham Week and Thanet Week she is now laid up ashore at Oare Creek, Faversham, Kent.
Easily lifted, fully ballasted keel, makes her ideal for exploring shallow east coast rivers and coastal sailing.
Sails in excellent condition: Main with slab reefing, 2 x No.1 genoas, No.2 head sail, storm jib, spinnaker and asymmetric.
Comfortable cockpit with moulded bins for spinnaker sheets and bulkhead bags for genoa sheets, halyards and running rigging. The ships compass (Maximum Inc. Polyaxial) slots into the companionway hatch groves, Icom VHF marine radio.
Brackets on the pushpit rail for the storage of lifebuoy and Johnson 4 outboard. The engine is operated from the built-in cockpit well. It has always been run in fresh water after each use and serviced annually. It has a separate 5 gallon fuel tank.
Mast head tri light, anchor light and cabin light run off a battery. There is a cabin fire extinguisher.
Inside, the 4 berth cabin has matching red berth cushions, a single fully gimbled cooker, melamine crockery and large portable water tank. The Portaloo toilet is in a separate recess.
