Onderneming was built in 1905 in Friesland of riveted iron plate construction and original designed to carry freight.
She was built for Yde Melis de Vries of Weidum and passed to his son Roelof de Vries, also of Weidum, in the 1940s.
In the latter part of the 20th century she was operated by the Syperda brothers of Gaastmeer and was acquired by the present owner in 2006, since when she has been extensively cruised on the continent.

The hull has been completely doubled in welded steel plate and was cleaned and blacked (2 coats) in 2018. A favourable report was received from a survey in June 2018. The report is available from the surveyor.
There are 7 berths in 3 cabins, with a possible 8th in the saloon.
The main cabin is amidships and serves as a second saloon. It has a double berth which extends to king size, and a vintage wood burning stove which heats the whole boat.
The second cabin is in the fo’c’sle and has 1 double and one single berth. Headroom is restricted.
The third cabin is beneath the steering position and has one double berth and 2 portholes. Headroom is restricted.
The saloon/galley seats 5/6 and has a gas oven with a 4 burner hob and a 12 volt electric fridge. There is also a radio/CD player.
The shower room which also contains the sea toilet is between the main and second cabin.
There is ample storage space forward of the second bedroom in the sail locker.

Fully rigged for sailing with a counterbalanced mast which can be easily raised and lowered single handed. The top section of the mast requires attention.
She has a full set of sails and all standing and running riggings is in good condition.
The lee boards are in excellent condition, as are the boom and gaff.
