Description

Bavaria 40 built in 2001, Sargasso features a fin keel with a volvo D1-30 engine, in mast furling , 3 double cabins and two heads. Standing rigging professionally replaced December 2024. Engine, gearbox and saildrive professionally replaced November 2024. Engine hour meter showing 15 hours. Morse control replaced March 2026. New bow thruster and dedicated battery professionally installed January 2026. Rudder rebuilt by Marine Composites with the inner core being replaced and a new bearing fitted. Hull blasted and epoxy and coppercoated by Marine Composites November 2024. New saloon cushions and upholstery in saloon October 2024. Deck professionally repaired after removal of old teak deck. All damage was repaired and new gel coat installed. Electrical system recommissioned by professional electrician. All instrumentation and eberspacher hot air heater working. All nav lights replaced with LED. Primary Lewmar winches are electrically operated. Furlex was serviced when rig was installed. Sails ( main and genoa ) are 2001 but still in good condition . Electric anchor windlass. Autohelm factory fitted and operational. Recent survey available on request
