Described as Beneteau's best-ever performance yacht of its time, this fantastic boat, with its beautiful Burmese Teak interior, does exactly what it says on the tin. And maybe a little bit more...getting you to your destination with grace, speed and superb manners. Great design, sails exceptionally, and the layout is very hard to fault. With her 2.2 metre keel, she has great stability and moves through the water beautifully.

Pentoria has only had three owners from new and has been very well maintained and never raced. Her first owners sailed most of the UK before popping across the Biscay down to Portugal and back.

Pentoria’s second owner purchased her in June 2018...
Her engine was fully serviced, new injectors and new braided fuel lines have been fitted, the water pump and timing belts was replaced. The exhaust elbow was replaced as was the full wet exhaust system.. She has teak-laid decks in nice condition, a spade rudder, and leather-clad wheel steering with an emergency tiller. Between 2019 and 2022, the following maintenance /upgrades had been undertaken.

New addition in October 2020: Raymarine Evolution system... EV-1, ACU 400, and P70 autopilot systems power a type two linear drive. They are top-of-the-range systems that give fantastic steerage.
A new stack pack and lazy jacks were fitted in July 2021. A new Bimini was installed in September 2021.
She benefits from a Rutland wind turbine charging the two house batteries and engine starter battery. She has a D3 LC cabin heater, which is a recent replacement, as well as new fire extinguishers and first aid boxes. The Windex has been replaced and the mast inspected. (no issues).
The cabin upholstery has been replaced and looks fantastic.


In 2022, she was purchased by her current owners and meticulously upgraded before heading off for a lap around Scotland in 2024. A extensive list of upgrades carried out in 2023 and 2024 can be seen below. The project manager for all the work carried out is also available if required. Pentoria was hauled out sanded back to the epoxy coating and given two coats of antifoul. (the Hull was fully inspected and is in fantastic condition). The long list of upgrades includes new standing rigging, running rigging ,Sanders main sail and a Genoa by Hyde to just name a few.

Pentoria was last surveyed in July 2022.
