Description

Broom Ocean 37 - currently moored in York and priced as a semi-project for quick sale. Wonderfully laid out for extended stay or potential liveaboard. 3 cabins, 6 berths, 2 heads/shower rooms, 1 galley, centre cockpit, flybridge, and a partridge in a pear tree (not included in sale).

Middle cabin: Spacious and bright middle cabin with centre cockpit, oodles of built in storage, plentiful seating which converts into a huge double berth, collapsible desk, TV, charming original radio. Galley to the side, plenty of storage, stove/oven, original fridge (though this could do with updating).

Front cabin: Twin V berth, wardrobe, drawers, toilet/shower room. Full disclosure - this cabin in particular needs work as there has previously been some rain ingress around the windows.

Back cabin: Twin berths, wardrobe, drawers and storage, toilet/shower room.

Flybridge with additional seating - perfect for cruising and entertaining.

Solar panels installed.
4x leisure batteries and 2x brand new engine batteries (either of which can be charged by the solar).
Both a holding tank and sea toilets so suitable for use on all waterways - including the Norfolk Broads, where it was built and where I am from.
Last taken out of the water and antifouled in November 2022.
2x Perkins 185hp diesel engines, diesel heater, powerful invertor.
She has apparently been to France and back multiple times - in need of TLC but she ticks over very nicely.
Full survey from when I bought her in 2022, valid BSS until 2028.

This would make a truly wonderful liveaboard - she was clearly built meticulously with plenty of storage in mind and is a bright and beautiful space (I particularly love the main middle cabin with its panoramic views). This is a very regretful and sad sale as I spent my grandma's inheritance money on her with view to living aboard but unfortunately due to unforeseen changes of circumstance and health challenges I was never able to do that and am having to sell.
