Golden Haze is believed to have been built c1885 as an Admiralty Pinnace. Originally built for steam propulsion she is on the National Register of Historic ships and entitled to fly their defaced Red Ensign.
Golden Haze's history is uncertain prior to 1974 when she was found abandoned in Goole and carefully restored on Windermere and the Norfolk Broards. Since then she has had 5 careful owners and has spent time on the Broads (including as a hire vessel) Thames and Great Ouse.
