Basil is a 57 x 10 collingwood widebeam built in 2010. Basil was built and fitted to an extremely high specification.
Basil is a gorgeous boat and has been kept absolutely up to scratch for cruising or life on a mooring. Basil would be perfect for a couple or small family looking to start life on the water.

EXTERIOR - Basil comes with a recent full survey carried out in March 2024 as well as a brand new boat safety certificate. Basil has recently been blacked in March 2024 with 4 coats of bitumen, 6 new anodes have been placed on the hull. Basil has just undergone a brand new professional paint job using Ephiphanes paint. Sporting a gorgeous bright green with yellow accents and a cream roof. The 1500litre water tank has recently been re- epoxied to comply with new drinking water standards. Basil comes with a full pram hood frame and canvas, good during winter turning the cruiser deck into a separate room.
ENGINE + BOW THRUSTERS + ELECTRICS- Basil has two 400watt solar panels totalling to 800watts going into a top of the range Epever MPPT solar controller. She holds a top of the range 3000watt Victron multiplus inverter. She has a Vetus bow thruster which charges off a Victron charger attatched to the engine, the battery for this is brand new. The engine itself is a gorgeous Canaline (marinised Isuzu), which is one of the best inland boat engines around. It has been serviced every single year without fail. Basil has 1 brand new starter battery and 3 brand new lesiure batteries. Basil has a galvanic isolator for extra protection when plugged into 240v shore power.
HEATING + HOT WATER - Basil a has central heating system fuelled by a diesel powered Webasto, sending heat to three radiators spaced throughout the boat and a towel rail in the bathroom. There is also a top of the range and recently serviced Morso squirrel multi fuel stove. Hot water is supplied by a calorifier triggered by the engine or Webasto, there is also an electric immersion heater for when plugged in to 240v shore power.
Interior-
Throughout the boat are brand new, made to measure, black out, cotton roman blinds. The boat has been fitted out in oak throughout. The floor is solid oak throughout.
Entering into the boat from the large stern cruiser deck you enter the living room hosting: Morso Squirrel stove, 4 person sofa, folding table and breakfast bar with solid oak stools.
There are 2 large storage cupboards one housing eletrics and the other has plumbing for a washing machine if you wanted to add one in.
Moving into the large cream kitchen passing the swan hatch to the right. This kitchen has limitless storage space and is a perfect ‘U-shape’ for entertaining guests. The kitchen contains 4 ring gas hob, grill and oven. Large blanco sink with hansgrogh tap. A brand new top of the range 12v Swan fridge powered purely from solar has recently been installed. There is an electrical microwave oven for when plugged into 240v shore power.
Next is the large bathroom with sliding oak door. Containing corner shower with hansgrogh mixer, large basin with storage and vanity mirror as well as a ceramic pump out toilet. The toilet is amazing and so easy to use with an electric flush. Carbon filters have been installed so there is absolutely no smells. The tank is easily emptied around once every one to two months. Very convenient and no mess!
Next you enter the bedroom. It contains a standard size double bed (brand new) with wooden storage drawers underneath as well as new memory foam mattress. There is a free standing oak chest of drawers as well as huge built in wardrobe with sliding doors. This room is totally blackout with new porthole cushion, black out blinds and curtains. In the day time it gets extremely light due to the large windows and double doors that lead out to the bow of the boat with seating for morning coffee.
