Gemini is a lovely yacht with character and charm, her hull was built by Colvic and she was fitted out with great care and expertise by the previous owner, her interior features varnished wooden beams and white deck heads.
The light blue seat/ bed cushions are extremely comfortable.
She is a lovely boat to sail, she will never be the fastest but she does offer great stability and safe and well-mannered sailing, ideally suited for a family or sailing single handed, she shrugs off waves and the wake of passing boats. In a force 4 or 5 she will sail at 5.5 knots with the wind off the bow.
I have updated her in line with my personal expectations, in the winter of 2021 I have,
• Fitted new decks in the cockpit
• Woodwork repairs as required
• Fitted new interior LED lighting including red night lights
• Fitted USB Charging
• New VHF radio featuring GPS position
• New Lowrance GPS plotter with a 7” display
• New Cabin roof and beams.
• New solar vent
She is in good condition but not immaculate, she has been well loved.
The previous owner worked in the aircraft industry so she has some features you would find on an aeroplane i.e. the cockpit windows and the electrical connectors.
She comes with full information regarding how all the systems operate, technical drawings, builders’ plans, manuals and personal notes together with spare parts and some tools.
The twin axle braked trailer offers the option to easily move her to any location to begin your sailing adventures. The trailer was last serviced in 2023 prior to lifting the boat on, since then it has only moved around the boatyard.
Prior to a long journey it would require a brake and tyre check, but is in good order for road use.
A trailer light board and spare wheel is included together with ratchet straps to secure the boat to the trailer.
