Built in the Swedish boat yard of Broderna Jonssons Tordocka in 1962, the "Laxi II" was originally constructed as a fish handling wellboat to service the Salmon faming Industry. Since, the vessel has now been converted to support the install and maintenance of Marina and Leisure moorings.
With a below deck hold capable of holding a large stock of chain and mooring equipment, the Laxi II has serviced the majority of Marina's and private mooring holders on the West Coast of Scotland for the past 20 years. Retro fitted with a crane and inboard surface supply diving spread the Laxi II has proven to be an extremely versatile vessel.
Single Screw + Bow thruster
The vessel is currently stationed in Oban, Scotland and is fully certified, ready to operate.
Last out of Water survey was complete in 2023 and workboat certificate valid until 2028.
