Corsair marine F27 trimaran 1991

Shadowfax is a great example of the renowned F-27 folding trimaran. Previously imported/owned and successfully campaigned by ex-Olympic sailor and distributor for Corsairs in the UK. She has been significantly upgraded to survey specification over the past 2 years and is a fast and comfortable cruiser that is easily folded and trailed if needed (the trailer – double axle, stainless steel hydraulic discs brakes was refurbished in 2024 with new bunks/supports throughout). Shadowfax has had the following modifications to her to make her more responsive and competitive:

• Sugar scoop extension (waterline increase to 29”)
• Baffles placed on all ama cross beams to decrease wave slapping
• Contours placed on hull amas to decrease resistance through water
