Misty Dawn is a 58ft semi trad style narrowboat, built by DB Boats in 1999. Moored on the river Crouch, Battlesbridge. Mooring is also available.

Engine is a Barrus Shire marine 42 Hp.

Radiators fitted, Mikuni diesel heater doesn't work although I use an oil filled radiator and electric blankets through the colder months.

Misty Dawn is a beautiful looking boat but her paintwork could do with a bit of a touch up. The seals around the windows are being replaced.

The mooring is located in the beautiful Essex village of Battlesbridge. 5 min walk from the antique centre (home to the legendary One Green Bottle!), The Barge Inn and The Hawk. 10 min walk from the train station which gets you into Liverpool street in 40 mins. Parking on site. Very private mooring on a public footpath which is only used for local dog walkers. 4 other boats here, the most amazing boating community you could wish for.

First cabin is my daughters, a single cabin style bed with shelves underneath, cupboard with the washing machine in and a small wardrobe.
Main cabin is a small double bed with 5 large drawers underneath. Two wardrobes and a small set of shelves next to calorifier.

Beautiful saloon with a multi fuel burner. Long and rather wide sofa, plenty of people have slept on that and had a good nights sleep! Massive storage underneath sofa and shelves/storage as you enter the boat on your right.

Galley kitchen comes with fridge, freezer and cooker with 3 gas burners and oven.
