1975 De Groot 46 for sale in Kent.
This 1975 Dutch built De Groot 46 has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years and is believed to have only had two previous owners. This motorboat has been internally changed on several occasions. The owner has started to strip the boat again for a full refit but has acquired another motorboat. It currently has a saloon/wheelhouse, forward cabin/dinning area, galley and a large aft owners cabin and a Heads. Hence why this boat, which would make an ideal liveaboard, is being offered for sale with a new set of wheel side windows that cost in excess of £4,000 and as a project on a sold as seen basis. A liveaboard berth at Swale Marina is available subject to interview


Accommodation :

The owner has started to strip the boat again for a full refit but has acquired another motorboat. It currently has a saloon/wheelhouse, with steps leading down to a forward cabin/dinning area. There is a galley with a sink. fridge. From the aft end of the wheelhouse you go down steps past the heads to a large aft owners cabin. This is a light and airy cabin. There is a small head compartment with marine toilet and sink and a holding tank.

This De Groot 46 has a white steel hull with painted topsides and steel superstructure. A new set of side wheel house windows included in the price. It has a wood interior with some insulation and plastic wood effect headlining's. The motorboat has been owned by the current owner for the past 14 years. The vessel was last out of the water in 2018 when she was antifouled. This De Groot is being sold as a project.

Mechanical Systems:

This De Groot 46 has twin Ford Sabre 4 cylinder 125HP diesel engines. Shaft driven to fixed 4 bladed propellers. Morse control in cockpit . The engines have not been run for several years but they do turn. Has 2 steel fuel tanks holding a total of 1000 litres. It has an estimated cruising speed of 12 knots and a max of approximate 15 knots.


Electrical Systems:

This boat has 4 x 12v Batteries .2 x Domestic ,2 nx Engines .All charged by engine alternator and battery charger. It has a 240v shore power system fitted to this boat including Battery charger ,ring main ,and immersion heater.
