Calico is an 8 metre fin keel Ecume de Mer built in 1973 by Chantiers Mallard. She has been with the same owner since 1995 and has been extensively used both as a family cruiser in the summer and a successful racing cruiser during the winter. However she has been unused for the last 3 years due to ill health, so now regrettably is up for sale.

Still in a sailable condition, but yes she is in need of some work - the hull needs cleaning and epoxying, but the keel is OK, standing and running rigging may need replacing, plus other updating, but she is priced accordingly. Part rewire has been carried out recently and all cushions are newly upholstered.

The accommodation sleeps 5 people with double in the fore peak, double in the saloon and a single berth situated under the cockpit, there is a separate head compartment with a marine toilet. The galley is equipped with a sink and a 2 burner hob with grill.

Fully functioning Yanmar 1GM inboard diesel engine, which needs servicing. She comes with a full set of sails including self-furling genoa, spinnaker and pole, spray hood and dodgers.
