This lovely, well maintained, Excalibur 36 is one of the timeless classic long- distance cruisers designed by the renowned E.G. Van de Stadt
Despite being designed primarily as a cruiser, Excaliburs won the RORC Class II Championships in 1963, 1964 and 1965, and they still have a powerful turn of long distance speed, but are extremely comfortabale (Comfort ratio:33.75) with numerous round the world, trans Atlantic / "Blue Water" passages, done with ease. Only 51 Excaliburs 36 were built and they all they are a very capable and strongly built yacht for bluewater or coastal cruising, emhanced by an encapsulated lead ballast keel and a balanced self-supporting rudder. Rengined in early 2000's with a Ford 1.6 D engine, with a cast Iron head (super durable engine).
New Jabsco marine pump (Aug. 021), new engine pump (May 2021), new alternator (Feb 2020), new Waterlock/Muffler Aug 2021). New Battery 2020. Engine always regularly serviced.

Double cabin, head and 5 single berths. AC and DC wiring. Two (July 2020) batteries for interal power. Wired for solar. New internal manual freshwater pump (July 2021). TV.
