I have happily lived aboard Tansy for the last 8yrs with my partner cat and dog.
I am selling her as a project boat as there are still jobs to be done. Mainly its all cosmetic. IE window frame trim on 3 windows, there is new decking by the rear doors but one piece at the back will need replacing in the near future. She hasn't been painted for the last 8 years and needs redoing. The front deck needs painting as well . The hull was last treated with 2 pack 2 years ago so is good for another 3 years. 5 years ago the base plate was over plated with 6mm steel and the sides 4inches above the water line in 4mm steel. We weren't heavy users of power and the front solar array (450w)took care of 90% of our power most of the year. The panels can be tilted either way quite easily. There are 3 x 90amp leisure batteries which are 2yrs old and seem to have a good capacity. The rear array takes care of the fridge but the 2 x 110amp batteries have lost a lot of their capacity and need replacing. Hot water is supplied by an instant gas heater the cooker is brand new and hasn't even had a kettle boiled on it and is wired up to be lit by the press of a button.
She is powered by a lister sr2 air cooled engine that was reconditioned the same time as she was overplated. We used a seperator toilet system which I've put on my new boat but there is a cassette toilet on board. There is an Internet antenna on the mast with the TV ariel fed inside Tansy. I have also left 2 shelves inside you can place at your leisure and a TV bracket. The exposed cable I've left for a TV power supply 12v as I wasn't sure what socket would be needed for your TV.
This is an ideal liveaboard for some one with the scope to personalise and make your own . Be prepared to see a grown man cry when you take her away.
