Surveyed on 12 April 2022 - the Surveyor concluded:
'The construction of Elixir was to a good standard. With regular maintenance the narrowboat will give many more years service'.

I will happily share the survey with potential new captains / captainesses.

Since the survey, she has received much love and care to ensure she will sit happily in South Dock for a good few years before she requires craning out again. Her hull has been prepared and blackened by Bluefish marine services based at South Dock. New anodes have been fitted. Above the water line has been sanded and painted to an exceptional standard using Rylard paints which are highly recommended for use on narrowboats.

In the winter you will be kept warm by a beautiful 'Bubble' Multi Fuel stove. The engine has been barely used as she has spent her most of her life as a houseboat on residential marinas.

I have owned Elixir for the past 12 years, I am selling her as I now live on another boat on South Dock Marina.

The Marina has 1 Gig per second 'Hyperoptic Broadband' which I use daily to download huge files as I WFH.

The Mooring Fees are 6,517 GBP per year or 625 GBP per month.

The asking price includes the transfer of the Residential Mooring - subject to approval of the Dock Master.
