Reluctant sail of our twin keel Hunter with her new Beta engine
We have owned the yacht for five years but we have now decided to return to a fin keel yacht.
During this time we have not used the twin keels as we had planned, mainly due to us cruising with fin keel yachts the majority of the time.
This model is not the self tacking jib model, she has genoa tracks for a larger genoa, this gives her far more power and speed in my opinion
She comes with the usual equipment that you would expect.
During the time we have owned her we have upgraded her in many ways and she is ready to go sailing.

She has now been polished up for the past three years and she now comes up pretty good for her age.
I collected the new engine and completed most of the work myself. The technical stuff was finished off by a Beta Marine certified engineer.
During the fit we upgraded the water separator replaced the water strainer and the water inlet was too small so had to be upgraded to meet the requirements for signing off.
She pushes a maximum speed of 7 knots. She achieves her maximum recommended revs of 3,600 thanks to first Marine who supplied the prop.
