I'm reluctantly selling my pride and joy due to family commitments.
Over the last 3 years I've gutted and rebuilt the interior, and fitted everything required to facilitate constant cruising with ease. Whilst she is a 2007 boat, the full dry dock survey (September '23) is excellent, showing very minimal ageing.
The interior was stripped bear 3 years ago, and £1100 worth of 42mm space blanket insulation was added to the original spray foam, keeping her warm in winter and cool in the heat of summer. After relining the interior, I (a professional cabinetmaker) have built everything from scratch in oak - solid oak floors with insulation beneath, wardrobes, ottoman double bed, study with filing draws, bathroom cabinet, internal doors, bow steps with hinged lids for extra storage, stern steps with soft close draws, wine racks and small bookcase in newly fitted large "G" shaped kitchen with breakfast bar. Loads of storage. I literally have several empty cabinets.
She's fully equipped too. All installed within the last 2.5 years. 2.4kw of solar on two independent systems to two solar chargers. Victron 3kva inverter charger (6 months old). 1000Ah of deep cycle traction batteries offering plenty of electrical storage. Large ultra efficient fridge freezer (costing £650). Webasto central heating supplying 3 designer radiators and a 75L calorifier. Calorifier also heated by either 240v element, the engine, or a 12v element direct from solar for free about 9 months of the year. Bow thruster with 3 new batteries. Starter battery replaced. 55hp Isuzu engine. 320L diesel tank. 1400L water tank. "Compoost" toilet costing £1100. There's a Morso Squirrel multi fuel stove if that's your preference for heating, which comfortably heats the whole boat in the coldest weather. The stern has a pram cover, with windows replaced 8 months ago. The kitchen has a never used dishwasher, stainless steel gas hob in the peninsula worktop, stainless steel extractor above. The gas oven and microwave oven are also stainless steel and fitted at eye level.
The solid oak bow doors and all window have full tinted double glazing, comprising of toughened and laminated safety glass, for extra security. Unlike most boat windows, with no thermal break in the frames, being oak there is no condensation.
Hull blacking is 2 pack epoxy, grit-blasted and coated in Goole marina dry dock September 2023. Next due approximately 2031 - 2032.
BSS until November 2027.
