This 60x10ft wide beam narrowboat is moored at the Lea Valley Marina in Stanstead Abbotts, Herts. The boat can be sold with or without the mooring.

This narrowboat is definitely a project not to be missed. It is in a great location a five minute walk from St Margaret’s (Herts) train station with direct trains to London. It is a 2 minute walk to a lively high street housing a Co op, multiple pubs and cafés, and the lovely riverside pub is accessible over a pedestrian bridge across the river. This area is in high demand, with a waiting list in place for people wanting to secure a place on the marina.

As you can see from the pictures, the boat is completely clear and ready for a renovation project. The bathroom needs a complete rip out and refit. Electrics are working but would also need attending to. You come onto the boat into a good sized living area with a log burner, and continue on to the kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and split oven all included. The hob is brand new and just needs connecting. Through the door is a hallway with a good sized cupboard for storage, bathroom, and the bedroom.

2 windows need replacing as well as all windows needing attention, as do areas of the floor in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Headlining is missing in certain areas, as shown in photos.

The boat has not been moved in a while, but the engine was working up til 3 years ago and so will need testing. BSS was completed on 4/11/2023 and expires 3/11/2027. The boat was last out of the water on 7/5/21 and the following works were undertaken (please see picture of invoice).
The boat is insured Third Party only and has a valid boat safety certificate.

We have been honest with the condition of the boat and are selling it at a discount price as it will need work to restore it to its former glory.

The mooring at Lea Valley Marina is fully transferable with a 10% fee being paid by the seller. Please Note: if this boat is sold with the transferable mooring, the title to the mooring can be passed to the buyer without needing to go through a waiting list or auction process. Mooring fees are TBA.
