We have owned this Macgregor for 15+ years and has multiple benefits including being easy to tow with its 4 wheel trailer which I used to trail the boat to Scotland.
There are no craning in and out fees and if you have your own area you can store it for free or because of its size can be stored at Caravan storage.
The Macgregor has a lifting dagger board and rudders to enable shallow river exploring and speed boat ease of use.
It is easy and simple to sail as it uses water ballast which can be filled and emptied whilst at sea and depending on use.
The Yamaha 50 4 stroke Engine is very economical and can push the boat along at 20 knots as it has a plaining hull.
There is a mast hoisting winch to enable easy access to sailing areas unreachable by other yachts.
Living aboard is extremely comfortable with 6ft head clearance, a large stern bed and v birth bed in the bow, heads area and a comfortable spacious living space. The kitchen unit can be moved to make the galley area more spacious and allow more room for the extra 5/6th birth.
The diesel heater keeps it nice and cosy on colder evenings and there is a 12 Volt TV screen also fitter.
The Boat is currently on a Swing Mooring at Starcross, Exmouth which could be sold with the boat under separate negotiation. However, it is easily put onto its trailer to be taken away.
