Description
Priced to sell and with a genuine reason for sale, here is a great opportunity to buy a competitively priced family yacht including a very solid road trailer and get the most of sailing for the remainder of this season.
The Newbridge Navigator is a Robert Tucker designed family bilge keel cruiser built 1981.
The original specification catered for coastal cruising but her shallow draught and bilge keels make the vessel suitable for inland cruising too especially as she takes the ground well on drying moorings. She’s built of fibreglass with the original gel coat which is in very good condition.
Equipment:
Since my purchase in 2014 ‘Stability' has been completely rewired and fitted out with BRAND NEW NASA Target instrumentation - Depth, Compass, Wind. On board kit also includes solar panel, NEW Cobra VHF DSC wireless with speaker to the cockpit, battery monitor and tricolour masthead light. Fire extinguisher & fire blanket in the cabin.
Rigging and Canvas:
I originally bought her to sail the Humber and east coast and installed all new standing rigging throughout with new guard rail wires (all supplied by Kildale Marine). She has recently been fitted with all new running rigging, main and jib sheets and the control lines have been led aft to aid shorthanded sailing.
She's equipped with a decent main, 2 hanked-on foresails, a dousing line set up; again to aid short handed sailing.
Additional Items:
She has auto bilge pump, manual Whale additional pump, good fenders, along with 3-step boarding ladder and outboard bracket, anchor, chain and warp.
A solar panel is mounted at the stern to charge a second leisure battery, battery box mounted in the stern well, for running an electric outboard/trolling motor. (Both battery and trolling motor may be purchased separately).
(A 4 hp Suzuki Outboard, serviced 02/26 may be purchased separately)
Trailer:
Stability currently sits on a well built, heavy duty galvanised braked and break-back road trailer, with guides and docking bars to aid launch and recovery. The trailer has a bow support and an extending pull out section for a lighting board. It has rear corner steadies, new jockey wheel, good tyres, the bearings were replaced in my ownership. The trailer has probably travelled less than 500 miles since refurbishment.
Other:
I believe this is a fair description of the boat it’s equipment and the trailer, further details can be discussed at a viewing but any purchaser should make all appropriate checks of the vessel, its fittings, installations and the trailer.
The boat and trailer are to be sold as complete package.
