Description

We have owned Cats Paw since 2019. She has had little use since then as we have not had the time to use her as expected. Hence the decision to put her up for sale. She has bilge keels, a spacious interior with 5 berths, Jabsco sea toilet. The engine (10hp Yanmar 1GM10) was installed in 2012 and In our ownership has done less than 30 hours, but has been winterised and serviced each year. The inmast furling mainsail was new in 2018 and has had little use. The headsail furling system and forestay were replaced in 2021. All lines lead back to the cockpit. A new mast and standing rigging were fitted in 2012.

Work completed in our ownership includes: cockpit self draining gate valves, heavy duty battery cables, toilet plunger and valve assembly, masthead LED tri/anchor navigation lights, Nasa speed and distance log and paddle wheel unit.

The boat inventory includes: 2 man inflatable life raft, 2 life jackets, Nasa Target speed and depth logs, manual bilge pump (plus new and still boxed bilge pump), compass, hand held Standard Horizon VHF marine transceiver, boat hook, swim ladder, fenders, ropes, horseshoe life buoy, 1st aid kit, fire extinguisher, fire blanket.

The boat is in good condition but would benefit from some, mainly cosmetic, TLC. The cabin and navigation lights currently do not work and the foresail is in poor condition.

Cats Paw is presently afloat at Wareham, Poole.
