Designed by Charles Nicholson, the Nicholson 26 has become a classic masthead sloop, representing a good compromise between sailing performance and cruising comfort. Tumbleweed was built by Camper & Nicholson in 1967 of GRP. She has a long deep keel, tiller steering and 6’ headroom in the saloon.
Tumbleweed (formerly Shaper III) is a comfortable, well fitted out boat, used regularly and equipped and ready to sail. She sails very well in light and strong winds.
Full osmosis treatment carried out by Gillingham Marina in winter 2000. Antifouling build up removed 2020 and osmosis treatment patched where necessary.
Insurance survey available March 2017.
