Selling my lovely Narrowboat Dragonfly due to a change in my life. She's been mine for 8 years. I purchased her in Northampton and brought her to London. Have been happily living aboard in and around London since. Currently moored on a lovely mooring in Uxbridge(Mooring can be continued subject to agreement) She was built in 1979 by Piper Boats and has a reverse layout. Lovely open plan living room with large wood frame sofa bed and hand tiled fire place, with back boiler/central heating. Then a spacious galley kitchen (freshly tiled in red) with relatively new 12 volt fridge/freezer. Very efficient oven and instant hot water boiler. Then through to the study which is an unusual added extra space most Narrowboats don't have. Followed by the bath room and finally the king size double bed room. I've added 3 Canadian Solar panels which keep the leisure batteries topped up. She has a BMC 1.5 engine which has taken me to many beautiful locations over these last years. She was overplayed over the entirety of the hull from the Chine weald down in dry dock when I bought her & the bow has just been overplayed in May 2025 at Uxbridge Boat centre. She has also just been blacked. The whole of the upper hull was sanded and treated, then repainted in a Terracotta colour 3 years ago. Her boat safety Certificate is valid until 2025. When I bought her I had a Marine Survey done. I have all the paperwork which you're welcome to view. She's my first boat, but won't be my last. For very positive reasons it's time for a change.
