The Prospect 900 is a Van de Stadt designed cruiser/racer with accommodation for five and a separate heads compartment in the forepeak. This particular example is fin keeled version which provide fantastic performance and stability. The boat is well equipped with a recently replaced engine, enjoying a more powerful Sole Diesel mini 29 with new sail drive unit. Recently replaced main sail, cruising chute in very good condition. Equipped with Furlex rolling Genoa to power Blew Behind along nicely. Boat has been well loved and maintained by the family and had an extensive re-fit in 2005 including, Keel, Rigging, Hull, Engine and Windows, The boat is winterized and stands on the hard every year. The accommodation offers up to five berths with 6' 2" headroom.
Steps leading down from cockpit to comfortable saloon with dinette to starboard side, drop down table converting to a double berth, storage above and below. Quarter berth with sliding work surface above and galley opposite to port, stainless steel sink with cold pumped water supply, recently replaced gimballed oven with two burners and grill, storage above and below and crockery stowage aft.
Midships cabin, discreetly divided from the main saloon by partial bulkheads and curtains, settee berths to both sides, hanging locker to starboard and cupboards above port.
Heads to forepeak with chemical toilet, molded sink to port with cold pumped water supply and sail locker forward.

Prospect 900 built by Rydgeway Marine of Oulton Broad in 1979 to a design by EG Van de Stadt. Blue GRP painted hull with white styling stripe, white painted coachroof and moulded non-slip decks. Aft self-draining cockpit. Fin keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Self draining anchor locker.

Located beneath the cockpit sole, Sole Mini 29 (Fitted Dec 2015) The MINI-29 is 3 cylinders, mechanical injection diesel engine for boats ultra-compact which performs 27 hp at 3.600 rpm and 952 cc, easy maintenance. The base engine is manufactured by Mitsubishi which guarantees a very reliable engine. As all the Solé Diesel's engines the MINI-29 is manufactured with a water cooler made of one piece cast without any welding to minimise the risk of leakage, and its oversized raw water pump ensures the water flow required for engine cooling Seawater cooled. Single lever engine controls with electric start. Sail drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller.
