Monsoon was commissioned by the original owner to be constructed to the highest specification. She has been significantly under-used throughout her life and remains a stiff boat. She comes equipped with:
New Seldon Alto mast and rigging (fully adjustable)
New Pinnell & Bax Sails (laminate main, dacron stuff luff flat jib with dyneema cord and monster spinnaker (red with white star) - all hoisted once but not used). Spare sails (worn but serviceable). Boom is original aluminium Proctor with single self retracting aluminium spinny pole.
Harken self-tacking mainsheet car system
Fixed hi-aspect rudder and lifting rudder
Top and bottom covers
Rapide Combi-trailer in excellent condition, with jockey wheel.
Also Gill and Neil Pryde trapeze harnesses, hardly worn.
Monsoon is exceptional value with the new elements and, with the hull having been carefully checked, fettled and polished, she only needs tuning to the owner's preferences to be ready to race.
