Description

B & B Yacht Designs Spindrift 10 Nesting sailing dinghy. Hull # 1353 plans purchased 10/06/2020. Build started in October 2020. Build completed in March 2021. Launched and commissioned April 2021. Built with 6mm marine ply, stitch and glue method, joints tapped and epoxy resin glued, whole boat then fibre glass woven matt epoxy resin glued, painted with Epifames two component gloss topcoat paint inboard and outboard. Built from full scale plans purchased from B & B Yacht Designs.

The original design is for a single sail dinghy, this boat has been modified to include a bowsprit and forsail for a more interesting sail plan, single alloy mast and boom, battered mainsail main sheet with cleat.

The boat was built for personal use as a tender, but very little used and is a great condition and read to sail away. It can be used with an electric outboard or small petrol engine. It has been used with a Torqeedo electric outboard which is for sale and can be purchased by separate negotiation.
