Description:
A popular model during her production years, the Sealine 450 Statesman combined quality construction and good all-around performance in a surprisingly affordable package. If the styling of the 450 Statesman seems a little excessive, her three-stateroom interior is innovative and very practical. The master stateroom is aft in this layout, under the cockpit. To make this configuration work (headroom in under-cockpit staterooms is almost always a problem), the molded seating around the cockpit perimeter is cleverly designed to provide full standing headroom around the centerline bed in the cabin below. An elevated lower helm (with excellent fore & aft visibility) is standard in the salon, and separate toilet and shower compartments are found in the aft cabin. On deck, lounge seating surrounds the cockpit, and a series of molded steps leads up to a rather small (for a 45-foot yacht) flybridge with a sun pad aft. Additional features include wide side decks, a teak cockpit sole, and plenty of deck storage.
