This outstanding Southerly 110 was built by Northshore in 2009 to a design by Rob Humphreys. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hull Copper coated in 2018. Teak toe rails. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Lifting keel. Twin spade rudders. Wheel steering. Aft self-draining cockpit. Teak laid cockpit seating and sole. Walk-through transom. Bathing platform. It has the tall mast and self tacking job options along with a cruising chute and all lines are led back to the cockpit.
This boat has been lightly used from new in 2009 by careful owners who gave up sailing in 2024. Bought by new owners after a long search for the right boat, the new owners invested in the boat before completing 1200 nautical miles as a ‘shakedown cruise’ prior to a potential trip to the Canary Islands in 2025. This included the Caledonian canal Ireland Wales and finally Bude. Refurbishment included professional clean and polish, new standing rigging, furler service engine service and new starter motor plus installing all new canvas work - which had previously never been fitted . This included spray hood cockpit cover, stack pac etc all with sun proof stitching and removable windows and a new chart plotter and AIS transponder in the saloon.
Unfortunately, the plans have now changed and this superb example is now up for sale. The owners are intending to use the boat as a spring, holiday home in Bude and then cruise gently back towards the solent unless sold.
