Description

This boat is an EdgeTracker 426, designed by Bowdidge Marine Designs. It is a deepV hull, designed for offshore fishing and leisure. This is an open centre console Powerboat, designed for use with up to 4 Adults. The boat was built by me between 2013 and 2017, under the guidance and monitoring of the Naval Architect who designed the boat, and signed off by him on completion. It is a composite build, based on a plywood hull completely encased in fibre glass. It is a great boat, which I have used mostly on the Dorset coast for Days out along the Jurrasic coast, as well as fishing, towing kids on the ringo and towing older kids on wakeboards. It is a very stable and dry boat, with plenty of freeboard and copes really well in choppy conditions. I have kept her in a boatyard over the summer in Poole, but keep her in the garage at home between October and April. I have only used the boat 5 or 6 times a year, and last year not at all due to health issues, which is why it is up for sale. I repainted the hull and decks late last year, and have serviced the outboard and run the boat on a local lake to test everything is as it should be. Cruised at 20 knots with ease and 30knots WOT.

Mechanical Equipment
The boat has hydraulic steering fitted (replacing the original cable steering in 2022). The Tohatsu 50hp MFS 50, was purchased new and fitted February 2023, and has only done 30 hours since that date. The engine has remote controls from the console, and has electric start and power tilt and trim. There are a Tachometer, with engine warning lights, fuel gauge, depth gauge and tilt/trim gauge on the console. The outboard has just been serviced. There is a second, auxiliary outboard, which is a 2004 6hp Mercury. An auto bilge pump is fitted. A horn and navigation lights are also fitted.

Deck and Hull Equipment
There are two pedastal seats at the Console, with a coolbox/seat to to the fore of the Console. Towards the Bow there is a casting deck area. There are two large lockers at the Transom, with 3 central floor lockers, fuellocker with fixed fuel tank (55L) and an anchor locker in the bow. The deck is open, with space to walk round the console. A Bimini is fitted, over the seating/console area. There are 12v and USB sockets in the console.
