Designed by David Cannell, the Tamarisk 24 is based on a Falmouth working boat. These gaff cutters are both fast and seaworthy. With substantial displacement for their size they are equally at home creek crawling or making coastal passages.  Easily capable under sail of over six knots, these craft can easily surprise many a Bermudan rig sailor.  This boat is a beautiful example of these stunning looking vessels. 24ft Tamarisk, GRP Gaff Cutter, professionally restored,new engine.
A robust little Traditional GRP Gaff cutter which under went a massive refit, which took two and half years to complete. The restoration was carried out by Alan Staley, Wooden Boatbuilder of Faversham, Kent. The interior reworked, decks were replaced. new engine installed. Soft furnishings required to finish the project. JOY was purchased in a very poor state in 2020, as a "Retirement project", sadly, due health reasons her present owner is unable to complete the project and will never take her sailing.
