Westerly Typhoon ‘Corwynt”
(Previously "Corwynt of Menai" and "Grumpy Bear")
Corwynt is Typhoon hull number TN16 of 40.
(Aft master cabin version with V berth fore cabin with ensuite heads and wash basin. Shower in main heads. Jabsco heads. New shower head/faucet and new double faucet in galley). Usual Typhoon quality/specification.
3 private owners from new, never chartered.
The second owner purchased her in England in 2001 and immediately had her gel shielded below the waterline, fully re-upholstered and fitted many extras including a three bladed folding prop with rope cutter.
Corwynt then made her way to Lagos Portugal for a few years then on to Port Olympic Barcelona Spain, the Balearics (Menorca), Torrevieja (Costa Blanca) and was then sailed back to the UK (Bangor NI) in September 2020 (pre-Brexit). I purchased her in 2017 in Menorca. Corwynt has been extensively (and slowly….) overhauled over the last 4+ years including new engine, new sails, new rigging (all), re-headlined, re-upholstered with new foam, new electronics, 3 new main hatches and many other items.
