Reduced: We are selling our Wilderness Beaver 23 after owning her for 9 years. Wilderness Beavers can be trailed behind a car and used as a caravan on campsite, as well as entering the waters via slipways. Many of these boats have been taken on the ferry and then trailed and cruised around France and beyond. Snapdragon was recognised by the Motorhome & Caravan Club. These boats have a huge following and there is a Wilderness Boat Owners Club, who arrange meet ups at Trailboat Festivals. They are GRP, so no blacking required and being 23 feet in length can moor easily and cheaply. Following a complete refit, this boat won a Best Presented Boat Award at a Trailboat Festival in 2020. It comes with an electric lift Tohatsu 15hp engine and a custom Wilderness Beaver trailer, complete with a stabiliser which cost an additional £1000 to install. This makes trailing it around the country, a much better experience. She has a full Kitchen with oven grill and 4 rings, fridge with freezer section and fantastic storage including pull out stainless steel baskets. The Lounge seats 8, sleeps 2, again with storage. She has two batteries and a solar panel, and can also be hooked up to mains when on a mooring or at a campsite. She also has a custom-made wood burning stove which is incredibly efficient and cheap to heat! Note the draft is only 11 inches, so even when waterways are suffering from low water levels, Snapdragon is able to cruise. The boat can be viewed by arrangement, in Broxbourne, and more information is available on request. Reluctant to sell, but we bought another boat 5 years ago, and it's time to let go and let her enjoy more adventures. The boat currently has a wonderful mooring which is in a great location and at a very reasonable cost per foot. We also have our other boat moored there. It may be possible to retain her mooring subject to acceptance.

Fantastic Layout as the boat is incredible spacious despite its length. The lounge area seats 8, with the table in place, 4 can dine. The boat is a 2 berth, which was the most popular layout for Wilderness Boats. The kitchen was part of a complete refit in 2019 and has a 4 ring cooker with oven and grill with glass cover. Fridge with freezer section, Sink with glass cover, kitchen cupboards with pull out baskets for ease of access. The water heater was replaced and the shower/toilet area was modernised. The storage on this boat is phenomenal with a huge under rear deck area for towpath table, chairs, bbq etc, wardrobe and usual hidey holes!
GRP Construction by well respected Boat Builder Ian Graham. Just over 400 of these boats were built since the 1970s.
