Westbound Adventure is a 1983 Sigma 33 Cruser designed by David Thomas. Known for being a fast, stable, and capable offshore boat suitable for cruising. The original OOD version has a deep fin keel and fractional rig, while this "detuned" cruising version was also produced from 1981 onwards with a shorter mast and shallower wing tamden keel.She has accommodation for up to seven berths. The Sigma 38 was a popular cruiser racer when launched, its design allowed for comfortable fast cruising with a manageable rig and a strong hull. They had a keen following among the racing community.
