Shanorelle is a 52' Traditional stern 2 berth narrowboat built by Brayzel boats in 2003. This boat is available for viewing at Frouds Bridge Marina Aldermaston
Shanorelle is a high quality 52ft traditional stern built by the renowned Breyzel Boats. In contrast to the recently painted traditional exterior (2019) the modern interior features a light airy living space combined with a well thought out layout providing the ideal boat for exploring the canal network.
Having recently been repainted (May 2019) the exterior of Shanorelle is of exceptional quality giving a feel of quality on the outside that is matched on the inside.
Starting from the bow deck you step down into the Saloon which is light and airy in part due to big windows and a light oak varnish walls. In the saloon you will find 2 corner cupboard port and starboard one with the TV, the other a storage area. There are 2 x leather chairs and a radiator fitted.
The walkthrough galley (port to starboard) which is both practical and atheistic has plenty of worktop space including a small breakfast bar on the saloon side. Here you will find ample storage, full sized fridge, free standing LPG cooker with a colourful tiled splash-back, microwave and a stainless-steel sink and drainer.
The bathroom is again walk through (starboard to port) which maximizes the space available to provide you with a large shower room with doors at each end. A large white corner shower cubicle with chrome fittings and shower panel walls give a maintenance free shower with plenty of room. In the bathroom you will also find the Thetford toilet and ceramic sink. There is also a full height cupboard for all your toiletries needs.
The bedroom is a great space with a pull out full sized double bed. The room has storage everywhere you look with over bed cupboards, built in drawer units either side of the bed, drawers under the bed and a full-sized wardrobe too. Due to the port hole windows you have some good light but with the added privacy these allow.
The rear space/engine room is nicely kitted out, again with a full sized cupboard and a small cupboard just above the engine you have got ample storage. The large cupboard houses a 3.5kg washing machine and a small freezer. Under the deck space you will find the Beta engine which is in great condition and only completed around 1200 hours. The bay is clean and dry with little sign of rust.
The boat was last surveyed in May 2017. A copy of which can be seen in the marina office.
