Description

WONDERFUL DAY SAILER - Alargh is a very pretty traditional day sailer which is easy to use and own. Her name is Cornish for Swan and the boat was built by Martin Heard in Mevagissy down in Cornwall, and is a replica of a Cornish Tosher (hence the T on the main sail).

GRP hull provides ease of maintenance, with charm provided by beautiful wooden bright works and seating. Lugger rig with tan main, jib and mizzen sails. Plus inboard Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine. Bilge keel provides shallow draft and level grounding. The trailer in the picture is NOT included.

Easy to rig and sail single handed. Professionally maintained each year and dry stored over winter. Lying at Emsworth marina. Huge fun but family have grown up and she needs new owner to use and cherish her.

Fibre glass hull with timber fore and aft decks and mahogany bright works, seating, engine cover and internal decking. Timber mast - front and rear - and lugger boom.

Engine(s)

The engine has been replaced this winter with a used, recommissioned Yanmar 1GM10 which has been professionally installed and not yet used.
