49' Raven No.2 is available to view at Frouds Bridge Marina Aldermaston.
Raven No. 2 is an elegant tug by Canal Transport Services – a highly respected builder in the Birmingham style. The boat started life with timber and oil board super structure but was re-skinned in steel around 1994. Raven has a large cratch area with vinyl covers to provide all weather shelter. The main cabin fit-out has been fitted out with mature pine giving a deep warm glow. Raven also has a snug boatmans cabin with traditional cross bed and range. The engine is the original Lister FR2 that has been well maintained and service. Raven also has a bow thruster fitted and in working order.

Raven No 2 is a well-maintained Tug style narrowboat built in 1983.
The exterior is in great condition and been well looked after by the current owner. 7 brass portholes and Bulls eyes provide a good level of light throughout the boat as well as the large glass doors and windows at the bow of the boat. There is a large foredeck with ample seating space with good condition vinyl covers.
Entering from aft there is a traditional boatmans cabin complete with original stove range, cross bed, fold down table and plenty of storage. The boatmans cabin maintains the original decoration and charm giving this space tremendous character.
Moving through to the engine room where you will find a well-maintained Lister FR2 2-cylinder diesel engine, and Johnson generator. The engine has been regularly serviced and is rust free with exterior paint work in good order. Here you will find port and starboard hatches.
In the bathroom you will find a functional space with plenty of room. There is a full-sized corner shower and pedestal sink drawing the hot water from the Paloma hot water heater in the galley. Here you will also find the Thetford Cassette toilet.
The galley provides a classic layout with cooker, hob and sink or the port side. Here you will also find the hot water boiler. On the starboard side there is plenty of cupboard and storage spaces including steps through another set of hatches
In the saloon you will find 9’5” of space that includes bookcase starboard side and a well-appointed pull-out sofa double bed port side. Here you will also find the Little Wenlock stove and desk space area.
