Just or near offer, ONO), this beautiful traditional wooden boat, called Swan, is based on the Tideway Deluxe design with gunmetal fittings. It was built at the International Boatbuilding Training College (IBTC) in 2009 and is unique.
The sailing / cruising dingy is a 'Swallows and Amazons' style boat and so is suitable for rivers, lakes and sheltered waters only. I have sailed it on the Avon in Gloucestershire, in the Douarnenez Bay in Brittany and in the Baltimore area of south-west Ireland (see photos).

Lovely refurbished tradiditional sailing dinghy. This boat has been refurbished over a number of months. The planking is of pitch pine and although the boat is in almost perfect condition she must have been built when pitch pine was plentyfull. It is almost impossible to get nowadays. The boat has a drop keel and a drop rudder. She has a mast and a sail (bermudan) and a boom. She has oars and a bilge pump and an anchor. We sailed her once and were very impressed however due to our age and unfirmity, sadly the boat must go to someone who can make good use of it. The trailor has just had new bea... read more
