Description

Owner of the M/F Hardingen Sr. is now considering sale. This majestic ferry was built in 1966 with the capacity of 45 cars and 499 passengers.

Previously classed under RINA but now within Norwegian Maritime Authority, trade area 2 with 250 passengers. The vessel is fully operational but need renewal of SS. Seller could deliver vessel with SS renewed.

The ferry is ideal for inter island trade with it's large panoramic view lounge and large deck space.

Owner spent abt. 1 mill. euros on vessel from 2016-2020. Vessel is to be inspected in port of Kristiansund.

Accommodation

4 singel officer cabins upstairs and 8 double cabins for crew down below deck.

Construction

Steel hull with aluminium superstructure. Very well laid out lounge with large windows, easy access by large staircases outside and inside.

Equipment

Lifting bow in front with ramps in both ends. Electric anchor winch and electric capstans in aft.

Navigation Equipment

Full sets of navigation equipment, all in good working condition.

Engine(s)

Originally 2x660bhp tot. 1320bhp but now reduced to 750kw to avoid NOX registration and to lower safe manning. Both main engines is in good working condition.

Two auxiliary gensets who is in working condition but should have been replaced.

New sets of hydrophore pumps, new circulation pumps and some new inverters fitted.

Safety Equipment

New MOB boat in 2017, new extinguishers in 2016. A lot of safety equipment was renewed in 2016-2018.
