Hardy 27 - 1997

The Hardy 27 is a sturdy, seaworthy motor cruiser built to a high standard. This example is fitted with a single 150hp Volvo Penta AD41 Turbo diesel inboard and is well equipped including a bow thruster, electric windlass and cabin heating.

A good opportunity to acquire a very lightly used well-respected British built motor boat, suited to both sea and inland cruising.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to Four berths within the Saloon and Wheelhouse.
Teak and holly flooring throughout saloon and wheelhouse. Full interior lighting. 6'+ headroom throughout accommodation space.

Forward Saloon with wrap-around U-shaped seating around a centreline table - this area can convert to form a double berth.
Storage above and below. Overhead opening deck hatch and opening side windows for good cross-flow ventilation at anchor or on a mooring. Hanging lockers port and starboard.
Galley aft to starboard with Plastimo Neptune 2 burner cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with H&C water supply, separate drainer & wooden chopping board. Front opening 12v Engel fridge. Generous stowage under and above. Vent.
Heads compartment opposite galley area to port with Jabsco marine toilet, washbasin with H&C water supply. H&C shower fitting & drain pump. Opening port for ventilation.

Steps up to wheelhouse
Wheelhouse Port side helm position with seat, overhead opening sunroof. Starboard side settee that can convert to a double berth and additional port side seat with drawer storage below.
Double doors leading to the cockpit with an aft bench seat. Mounting socket to use the pedestal table from the saloon as a cockpit table.
Door to stern platform.

Construction

Built in 1997 by Hardy Marine, Norfolk to a design by Colin Mudie.
Hardy 27, Yard number 2016
White GRP hull with blue shear band. White GRP superstructure with self draining aft cockpit. Enclosed wheelhouse with folding doors to cockpit with seating and stowage. Door aft to GRP bathing platform. Stainless steel handrails. Self draining anchor locker.

End October 2022 - Hull and coachroof professionally polished & waxed, new anodes fitted and two coats of antifouling applied.
